  4. • Configuring MacGzip

  6. 0:  Get "Internet Config" and install it on your Mac (if you don't have it already)
  7.  
  8. 1:    Copy MacGzip to your Desktop (so you can access its Finder Balloon Help faster, and Drop files on it)
  9.  
  10. 2:  Double-click on it.
  11.  
  12. 3:  Read the about, click once, read the license, click once more
  13.  
  14. 4:  Click return to accept default settings
  15.  
  16. 5:  Quit

  18. • Configuring your communications software

  20.     Read the document 'Configuring Network software' and follow the instructions...

  22. • Using Macgzip
  23.  
  24.     Select your files/folders and drop them on MacGzip icon.
  25.  
  26.     These are the modifier keys you can use:

  28.         a:      Force ASCII (text) mode
  29.         b:      Force Binary (raw) mode
  30.         m:      Force MacBinary mode
  31.         opt:    Force compression
  32.         shift:  Force decompression
  33.         ctrl:   Force 'Prompt for destination'
